AI transparency

Nordstern.Coach is an AI product. That is not a footnote, it is the core: without artificial intelligence this coach would not exist. We put it in writing here so you never have to guess — neither when you are talking to a machine, nor when a piece of content came from one.

Where AI is at work

Practically everything you read, hear or receive as an analysis in Nordstern.Coach is created with AI. Specifically:

• The coach — every conversation, typed or spoken, is with an AI. No human is reading along.
• The voice — when the coach answers you, the voice is artificially generated. It belongs to no human being.
• Your life vision, reflections and analyses — an AI writes these texts from your answers.
• Articles on our blog — text, cover image and audio version are created with AI and reviewed and approved by us before publication.
• Images and video on our pages — illustrations, backgrounds and videos may be AI-generated renderings. The video in which our founder speaks is an AI avatar too: the words are his, the image and the voice are generated.

What an AI cannot do

The coach is not a therapist, not a doctor and not a human being. It can offer prompts, reflect with you and mirror patterns — it cannot diagnose and it cannot treat. It can also be wrong: AI systems sometimes phrase things convincingly and are mistaken all the same. For anything that carries medical, legal or financial weight, please bring a human in. If you are in acute distress, turn to professional help near you.

Who is accountable

Nordstern.Coach is operated by matd ag, represented by Marcel Kuhn. We do not merely run the AI — we answer for what it produces. The rules the coach works by, its limits on sensitive topics and the approval of everything we publish rest with us, not with the model.

How we label

Wherever you speak with the AI directly, we tell you on the spot: before your first conversation with a notice you have to confirm, and permanently in the chat header after that. Published articles carry their label on the text, on the cover image and on the audio version. For images and video on our other pages, this page serves as the general disclosure.

What happens to your content

Your conversations are processed in order to answer you. They are not used to train AI models. Which providers are involved, what data they see and how long we keep what is set out in the privacy policy.

Legal framework

This page fulfils the transparency obligations under Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence, applicable since 2 August 2026. matd ag is based in Switzerland; because our service is used in the EU, we follow these requirements.

Changes

Whenever we add AI to a feature or change an existing one, we update this page. The date above tells you when that last happened.
